Andrés is a Lawyer and Political Scientist from Universidad de los Andes. His practice focuses on regulatory strategy, external affairs, and sustainability (ESG). He has provided legal advice to national and international companies, public entities, and international cooperation actors on implementing legal strategies to mitigate legal risk and adopt due diligence and corporate sustainability standards.

Before joining Zulegal, he was an associate lawyer at Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría and Arrieta Mantilla & Asociados. He also served as Legal Advisor to the Office of the President of Colombia during the peace process with the FARC-EP. Additionally, he was the Director of Public-Private Partnership Articulation at the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce and Director of Regional Integration at USAID Colombia.

Andrés holds a specialization in international law and foreign investment and obtained an LLM from the London School of Economics as a Chevening Scholar.
